Too bad Leanna didn't get to run the Victory Lap - AGAIN.  What's more, I can't believe nobody invited me to their Hukster party - AGAIN.

Wiener Dog watched the game with me (sort of) - AGAIN.  We snoozed through most of the first half, waking in the last 20 seconds, just in time for SPAM and Cheese Frenchees. Wiener Dog likes Frenchees.

Here's my take;  That transfer quarterback is probably learning to deal with it. How could he have known?

Seems like a lot of Huksters have Jr on their jersey. What's with that?      My advice to Coach;  cut Penalty Jr and get another SEAL !!

Joe,  Good to hear you can go to the Bank every day.  Putting in or taking out?  To be honest, I wouldn't get to the Bank very often if I had to walk.

Joann,  Thanks for the update about Norma's Dad.  You all may know Norma's Mom as Grandma Betty, the Craft Lady on NTV.  Nice lady.  Please add my condolences to the family as well.

Another tough day for the Huskers Dick G . It would not have made any difference in the game but the referees missed alot of holding calls on Purdue and a targeting call on one of our receivers !!  Go Big Red.

Enjoyed getting together with the group at Calico Coffee this morning for Carol's visit back to Nebraska.  I posted a gallery of photos under Ducks vs. Huskers in the mini reunion photos.  I didn't know how to create a separate folder.  Fun times!  Dan made a short stop to say hello - poor guy was the only one in our group still working full-time :( - Jeannie Anderson Stade stopped by and said hello too!

For a good time, see the 70 girls !!!

Lots of hugs !  Got one from each, coming and going !!   I still don't know which ones were packin'.  Too many places to hide them.  Let's just let it go at that.  I might get nominated for Judge some day.

Good to see everybody, but not enough time, as usual.  Maybe we should do these once a month.

Danny can stop by every month in a clean uniform and try to convince us he's working.

Of course I jest about frisking the girls for pistols during a hug.  Fact is, ours is a fine group of people who truly care about one another.  It's a privilege to be reacquainted with each of you. Blessings to all.

We need 70 posts to get to the next 70.

90* yesterday.  35* this morning.  Glad I got my pneumonia shot!

So tonight me and Wiener Dog are sitting by the heater watching a 1970 classic, The Cheyenne Social Club.  Can't go wrong with Jimmy Stewart and Henry Fonda.  Remember when we were little guys and could wear our hat and guns to the matinee ?   In Texas the big guys still do!

Happy Moose Season, Vicki.  Wishing you good hunting, safe travels, and don't forget the flannel.

92,113          That's 43 curious lurkers.  Maybe next time we'll have a bigger coffee crowd.

69 posts to 8170    I hope they won't all be mine.

Too bad Leanna didn't get to run the Victory Lap - AGAIN.  She might as well join a Fitness Club until next year.  And I've given up on ever getting invited to a Hukster Party.

Me and Wiener Dog snoozed through most of the game - AGAIN.  This time we ate wiener schnitzels. Wiener Dog likes wiener schnitzels. The one really good thing about this season is the half-time eats.

Here's my take;  rats are jumping ship.

My advice to Coach; Get more SEALS!

Dick we need to be patient and give Frost a few years to build the program. They have had over 500 yards in offense in three games . Just not able to score and the penalties .

TO ALL:  Sorry I haven't been on this website for Months it seems like.  Missed a lot of Posts, Great Informaiton & Food For The Soul  -  they should write a book called that  -  it really sounds like it would work.  I really haven't even been lurking  -  I keep 2 Browsers going with this website ( 1  to Post and  1  to refer to as I am Posting  -  that way I can remember what I was wanting to say)  and every time I have to REBOOT my Freakin Computer (and it happens quite often) I always have to reopen the website  -  not once but twice so it looks like I have been Lurking but I really haven't.  To make a Short Story Long  -  I have missed you guys.  I went back about 4 Pages to get caught up.  I have been very busy  -  our business is out of this world right now  -  I can't complain because we are making Quota but I'm really not supposed to be working this hard with only a few months to go.  We have also been traveling a lot   -  Seattle twice this summer, Boston and Newport, RI -  Got to see the Texas Rangers get the crap beaten out of them by the Red Sox (that sucks).  I don't really want to talk about my Sports Teams (The BRONCOS) right now  -  it hasn't been a very good ride the last couple weeks  -  the only bright spot is the YANKEES are playing in the ALDS and won one game in Boston.  We are actually getting ready to go to Iceland for a few days  -  leaving Saturday and spending about a week  -  the weather is Showers or Rain every day - we should just go back to Seattle. I'll let you know how that turns out.

Joann  -  Just pass those Canadian Coins off as American  -  they don't work in the Coin Machines though - not that I tried.

Danny  -  I think I spotted Waldo.

Dick  -  Thanks for the Birthday Wishes. We started yesterday for Aaron's Birthday -  that's the only one that really matters right now  -  he will turn  30  Thursday  -  it's a week long of celebrating. Better get his done  -  I still have to work - Talk to you later  -  Go BRONCOS & YANKEES.

Still waiting for clear & nice October weather instead of all this rain now-so are the farmers no doubt! BIG Red will be back winning but not sure when-hopefully least one game this season! Keeping busy with a few Halloween songs I wrote (& others later to record) that plan to do maybe starting around end of the month-have a great Nephew "Jury" turning 3 in Cozad then but maybe will get recorded here by Christmas -later some gospel ones planned including one on Dr. M.L.King Jr. I belong to the Grt-Plains Blk History Museum here also may first play it at-in honor of his birthday mid January-weather permitting-take care all-stay dry (more than here it looks like)-later!

Carol Dennis (Bullock)

It was so great seeing all of you who came to the coffee last week.  I want to thank you so much for taking your time and coming.  Dick, you always brighten us ladies' day with your attendance to the mini's.  We love getting those hugs!  Keep the green bananas coming your way my friend!  Dan, thanks again for attending and showing us that Halloween "uniform".  You can always brighten the place up, too!  All my gal friends, Joann, Julie, Barb, Vickie B, Pam, and Cindy C., you know how I love getting together with you all!  Jeanne Anderson Stade, you have no idea how glad I was to see you!  It's been way too long, so hope you'll come to more minis and the 50th coming up!  We have more catching up to do!

I also want to thank Cheryl W. for meeting us for coffee Tuesday morning.  Cindy C. and I  loved catching up with you.  I think we could have carried on a couple more hours for sure!  I'll check in with you when I'm back again, to see what else is new.

Rhonda K. coffee with you and Cindy C. was such a good visit!  You have been through so much, and I'm happy to hear you're doing well and carrying on with life.  It's a good one, and there is absolutely so much in your life to come to celebrate and be blessed!

All of you I missed this time, I'm hoping my next visit home we'll get together!  Cindy C., you know what it means to me to have you as my "sister" cousin.  Then to have you come to Georgia and visit and take me home with you was one of the best visits we've had!  I love you!!

Carol,   Glad you had a fun trip and got to see lots of old friends.  Now that you're back home ... in case you haven't heard about the hurricane headed your way ...  Batten down the hatches!   At this point, you probably don't have electricity and can't read this, so never mind.

Seriously, I pray you and your family are safe and avoid any damage.

Maybe if we all fly our   N   flags upside down ?

That might make things look different this Saturday.

Dick  -  Just like Blanton says the   "N"  is for nowlege no matter how you hang it.  It really was a terrible week at the Schickedanz House this week  -  Losses by the BRONCOS, COWBOYS, & The YANKEES getting knocked of the playoffs  -  One good thing  -  I won my Fantasy Fooball Game.  Better go to work and get ready to go to Iceland.  Talk to you later.

Frank,  No need to go to Iceland.  We've got ICE right here.

I hope everybody turned the rain gauge upside down.  Don't worry about covering the garden. It's pretty well run it's course - except the punkins. Anna might could use a few more.

Check out the display our Rowdy friend Scott W (71) puts on for Halloween. There was a story in the Hub.
