Comments:

I graduated from Kearney State College in 1975 with a bachelor of science degree. I worked for The Nash Finch Co. for 25 years,Pepsi in Hastings for 9 years and moved back to Kearney in 2002. I have been at Eatons since that time.

School Story:

I remember in 9th grade at the old Longfellow School in Earl Jensens class the time Bob Morris was clowning around before class and he went out the window onto the ledge. This is on the 2nd floor and Sherilyn Hogins ran over and shut the window on him thus he is locked out. About that time Mr. Jensen comes in and starts taking roll. He then starts class and about 5 minutes later there is a tap on the window and everyone holds their breath not knowing how Mr. Jensen would react. He went to the window and there was Bob out on the ledge.Mr. Jensen started to laugh and so did our class. Also, The Dungeon at Longfellow. Charlie Turners P.E. class was fun unless you screwed up.Then you would have to jump up and grab the pull up bar and hang on to it. He had this huge flimsy tennis shoe that was about a size 16. He would randomly pick a few guys and they would each get a free shot on the rear of the guy who had screwed up. Nobody held back and it was quite an echo in The Dungeon. My most embarrassing moment came in Miss Linda Hood's 10th grade Spanish class. Our assignment for the next day was to be able to say a sentence in Spanish. So I saw Xavier before school and he gave me a sentence to say. It came my turn and I stood up and said my sentence and most of the class started to laugh. I had no clue what I had even said,so I was trying to avoid Miss Hood on the way out the door.It didn't work and I had to stay after class. She asked me if I knew what I had said and I had to confess that Xavier had told me what to say. So I asked her what I said. She told me that I had just told the whole class that I pick my nose and eat it. I guess it could have been worse, maybe.

Hobbies and Interests:

I enjoy bowling and playing tennis.I am a die hard Cubs fan and enjoy playing or watching most sports. I have refereed high school wrestling since 1972 and that is my passion. I thoroughly enjoy it,especially the kids. Also,I am a connoisseur of my family's genealogy.
