I don't think I ever had any classes with Dick Jensen, nor do I remember him, but it's always sad when someone in our class passes away.  Prayers to his family.  I know this time will be difficult for them.

I have delivered a few of the tees I am making for the ladies for our class reunion.  The rest will be delivered on Monday (and then will still have a few I'm holding for the reunion).  So far everyone loves them.  I do think that those who didn't get one will be disappointed they don't have one, but rhinestones aren't for everyone.  

Schick - we loved Texas, but was definitely a shock leaving Texas at 101 degrees and coming back to chilly weather in Lincoln!

The service for Dick was very nice and it was good to see so many of us there!  Dru appreciated our attendance, meeting everyone and hearing stories of how we knew Dick!  It was good to see Chuck and Kristi Salestrom today along with Carol Mattson Still!  Hope the next time we all gather is for a happier occasion!

Turns out it was Carol M !!   Not the first time this has happened, so maybe it's time for me to get new glasses - and a little humility. Susie,  It was indeed a fine representation of the Class to honor the life of Dick Jensen.  We filled those rows with the help of our honorary classmates, JD and Brownie!

Dick's Memorial brought back a memory of the time I had a chance to visit with him when he was working on the Wind Sculpture.  It was rather controversial at the time, but it was an honor for me to know one of the guys who put it together.  I've never criticized it since.

Tiger  -  Well  My Yankees lost and so did My BRONCOS  -  but I won one game on Fantasy so the week of sports was not all lost.  As you said  -  it may be a long season for the BRONCOS .  Next year is always around the corner.  I really hated to see Mahomes go out for the Chiefs  -  REALLY  -  even though he plays for KC I think he is an incredible talent and he is a Class Player in a Class Organization (if he would have been in Philadelphia I would have preferred that his leg would have been detached).

Dick  -  I am working on #2  &  his sidekick in Alaska for the 50th (50th  -  doesn't that seem insane??).  Better go to work so I can afford to take off next year 50th  -  talk to you later  -  GO BRONCOS.

i read about Chuck's presentation in the Hub!  Was hoping I could go but it looks like it won't happen!  Need to appear for Tyler and then take my Mom to PT!  Chuck and Kristi's daughter went to school with Lindsay!  I would have liked to visit more with them last Friday but didn't get it done!  Hopefully at the 50th!

Were headed to Calamus to close up and winterize Mom's cabin and Dad's boat!  Hopefully the weather will be good all day!  Hoping to go to Bow and say hi to Lindsay!  A little out of the way but always worth it!

I haven't check the message forum for about a month.  Mrs 'O" and I took a little vacation to Palm Springs and Las Vegas for a couple of weeks.  I was sorry to read about Dick Jensen.  We had a few clasess together . . . he was a  nice guy. . . as I recall he was always kind to everyone.   I think he was in a band but maybe I'm thinking about someone else.  Sad to say but I also scored pretty high on the "do you remember" questionaire.

While in LV we found a Husker bar to watch the game.  Pretty large bar close to the airport with about 10-15 TV's all showing the Nebraska game.  The Las Vegans for Nebraska Club rent out the bar for each Nebraska game . . . probably around 100 Nebraska fans.  Made us feel like we were in a Nebraska bar.

Hope everyone is doing well but we need a Husker win.

Tiger  -  Well The Nationals did it  -  pretty cool.  After the Astros beat the Yanks I really couldn't root for them even though I am an American League fan.  By the way they played -  they probably would have beaten my Yanks and I would have been more upset than I was when the Atros beat them.  It's cool with all the dynamics of the Nats  -  Hats off to them.  Better go to work  -  gotta make a living and support our habits (Traveling, Eating, Drinking and Kids)  -  Talk to you later.  GO BRONCOS.
