Thanks Anna!  I will check with Lois.  I also need to check the site for emails for the missing classmates and see if I can locate them through emails.  I plan to stop at Central Office and see if they will share their list with me.  They have in the past so I imagine they will again.  Linda did not graduate with us!  Thoughts and prayers to her family!

Leanna  -  Sometimes You have the Pool that Some of Us with In-Ground Pools envy  -  Look at all the time and money you save by being able to put yours away for the winter, you don't have to constantly clean leaves out during the Fall, mess with chemicals, clean the filters, and there is always something that is continually falling off the trees no matter what season that needs to be cleaned off, maintaining water levels, keeping Ducks out because they think they have a new pond (not rubber duckies), just to name a couple  -  well ,maybe more than a couple but who's counting.  One thing we have over your type of pool is that we can heat it up and use it on any given week if you want to pay the Gas Bill which is another cost but we can lure people to Texas during Thanksgiving or Spring Break.  As I list these things  -  I may just want to fill it up with dirt and get one like you have  -  but not right now  -  it has been quite a HOT August and September and I have been spending a lot of time in my backyard.  I can't move my pool around  -  only float under a shady spot if there is one and so far it has not been Too Hot To Swim (THTS).  Maybe I'll keep it for another 2 Years or 13.

Susie  -  San Francisco really is an interesting City  -  I have pictures of Parks where people are selling Magic Mushrooms, Coconuts full of Rum and just about anything you can imagine (YES ANYTHING)  -  And the Seafood is out of this world  -  my Nephew took us to some little Dive Places that only the locals know about  -  what a treat.  I tell everyone that "Most People Eat To Live  -  well -  I Live To Eat".  That being said  -  I better go to work.  Talk to you later.

I registered for the reunion today to see how it works!  It was pretty easy!  When you register yourseld be sure to click "Guest is a Classmate" and then search your last name and click on it.  This is how your name tags will print!  Don't forget to send your check to Dan!

I sent out postcards yesterday and 3 more go out today with updated addresses.  I have one more lost classmate: Rex Anderson.  I also need the address of Mike Loveless.  I think he is in Kearney now but dont have the exact address.

I need some help with addresses please!!  These were returned to me:

Bob Matheny (possibly Omaha) his email address from the website is no longer valid

Rodney Wietjes I found one in Liberty, MO.  Does anyone remember where he moved to?

Thanks!

Holly Heacock (Reiter)

Susie,

Dan said Rodney moved to Kansas City so I would think the Liberty, MO would be correct.

Thanks so much to you and the planning committee for organizing this and all the minis were great!  We appreciate you all.💕

Just a reminder:  To sign up for the Reunion use the 50th Reunion Info link on the left side of the page!  Also,  please keep your contact information updated in your profile!  Makes life so much easier!

Enjoy this cooler fall weather!  Wish I were out camping one more time, but Mom duty has called the last couple of weeks and sister-in-law returns Monday to close on a house she purchased down the street from us.  Looking forward to having her spend more time with us and in Nebraska.  Definitely need to retire again from my part-time (full-time) job!  Actually, I haven't been to work for 4 weeks and I've loved it!  I think I'm finally over my "I love to work" attitude!

I need more assistance with addresses as several postcards have been returned.  Anyone know where to find Monte Anderson?  He was in San Tan Valley, AZ.  He may have moved back to Grand Island according to the Internet, but I don't have any information other than that!  Also, Bob Roberts?  Was in Leawood, KS!  His email on the website is no longer current.   Linda Wempen Morgan was in Peru, NE but may now be in Minden.  I have a phone number so will try it later today!  Thanks!

WELLLLLLLL !!!!!!!  So my The BRONCOS are not doing as well as we have been hoping  -  maybe a #1 Draft Pick next year will help.  Baseball is over in Ft Worth / Dallas area but the Yanks are still in it  -  they lost their last 2 games to the Rangers (which really sucked) but we got to go to the Very Last Game Played at the Ball Park In Arlington  -  we were also at the Very  1st  Game that was ever played there 25 years ago  -  I put a couple of pictures on my profile  (That is the latest Family Photo we have including our Sons and their Girls).  We will have more after the wedding in November

Danny  -  Cash that check quickly  -  We are going to Cancun and may spend all of our money trying to get out of there  -  we need some R&R  -  working too hard.  Better go to work  -  Talk to you later  (go  BRONCOS)

Happy birthday to Dave "Lefty" Carpenter. Hope you have a great birthday !!!

Frank...

It will be a long year for your beloved Broncos unless Elway comes out of retirement. Not really Flacco's fault, just no offense around him.My son is a big Broncos fan and came over last Sunday to watch the game.I always put a big box of kleenex by him, because he will need them.I bought him a Von Miller jersey a couple years ago while in Colorado and I think he sleeps in it.

World series prediction:Astros vs.Dodgers again.

Tiger  -  You may right  -  one small conselation is that we beat Phillip (Cry Me A River of Tears) Rivers yesterday  -  If we can beat the Raiders once and the Cheifs once it will be an uplift to my soul.  I had to miss the game  -  I watched it in pieces  -  The resort here in Cancun is a little lacking for American Football  (and Baseball for that matter) and I am too cheap to open up my phone to watch it.  The Yankees can clinch tonight with a win  -  the problem is so can the Astros.  It will be an interesting playoff. I guess I better get back to laying around  -  GO BRONCOS Talk to you later.

My niece Sarah text me yesterday that Dick Jensen passed away Sunday afternoon.  Tentative funeral plans are for Friday, October 18th.  I don't know time or location yet, but it will be in the paper at some point.  Say prayers for his son Dru and family!

Frank, Mike and I were in your neighborhood this past week. Waco, TX, then drove through Austin on our way to Fredricksburg. Wished we had some of that heat for Friday, supposed to be 14 degrees

Sympathy and prayers for the Jensen family.  Dick and I were friends during high school and he was such a nice guy. Once in a while, at the Youth Center dances he would ask me to dance and I was always happy because he was a great dancer!

If someone would post his funeral arrangements, I would appreciate it!

So sorry to hear about Dick Jensen. He was my Senior Prom date. We decided to go at the last minute in Journalism class one day. Some people bet us a $1.00 we wouldn't go together. We did and had a nice evening other than backing his cute sports car into a tree trunk.  He was a very sweet and kind class mate.

Condolences and Prayers for Dick's Family  -  He really was a Nice Guy

Barb  -  I had forgotten about Dick's little Sports Car  -  Thanks for bringing that up  -  It brought back memories

Joann  -  Fredricksberg is a Very Cool Destination  -  even when it's hot  - you must have been there during October Fest  -  If you go down in the Spring to see the Wild Flowers it is absolutely incredible  -  usually incorporated a few Wine Tours with it (That is Texas Wine Country) but the Wild Flowers will blow you away

Tiger  -  Your Sister has a Very Good Birthday  -  Thanks  -  Carol was extra nice to me because Her Birthday was yesterday  -  to celebrate Hers we spent an extra day in Cancun  -  we had planned to come back on Wednesday but as we started towards our room to pack she said "Maybe we could spend one more day"  -  So we did.  At least the BRONCOS salvaged 1 win for the year and hopefully the Yankees can get past the Astros' pitching  -  We'll be watching.  Better get some laundry done before Carol gets off of work  -  Talk to you later  -  GO BRONCOS
