Anna- remember those little plastic ducks that swam in a circle? My parents would always give in to buying a couple ducks, then I could pick my own duck and would win some kind of little trinket.

I must have had a thing for ducks way back then, although I remain a Husker, not a Duck!

So did you pilfer the ducks back then too?

If good old dad hadn’t been there to dig in his pockets.....

The Hotel Greenfield, the last few times, has frogs by the bathtub instead of ducks. So, I might have to go to the Buffalo County Fair.

Leanna you had better start saving your quarters.  After my nephew finished showing his lambs on Friday and pigs on Sunday we made a trip through the carnival Sunday afternoon and found all games were $5.00.  The fish tank was 3 little fish for the $5.00 and it is still small prizes.

Vicki,  Better not mention the value of fishes. They'll be an endangered species in hotel rooms (if you catch my drift)   How did Sam finish at the fair?  A while back I saw him on TV doing archery. Good story.

Danny,  How many biker babes can you get in a privy? Get pictures!

Other possible responses;

Will his Life Insurance pay off both times?

His widow says "Maybe now he'll stay dead. He was a stubborn cuss."

He can vote twice now ... It's New York!

Have fun planning the 50th, hard to believe!  I've spent some time in Kearney this summer as I've got a friend in Amherst that I visit on occasion.   Let me know when planning sessions are, I might actually make one.  One class out here did a murder mystery and seemed to enjoy it.  When's the next mini?

Rather productive Rowdy meeting today; two 70s (a couple of Dicks), one 69er, and 3 current leaders of the Rowdy Section.  The young guys are really excited and have some good plans. They will get things done!  50th Anniversary Rowdy Nite will be in January.

Now it's just a matter of getting the Cheerleaders to perform.

Or the Drill Team to do cartwheels.

Kathi,  Apparently you are not aware of the rule;  When someone is here from out of town, let us know and we'll have a mini

So ... next time you are in town, let us know. We'll have a mini.

Murder Mystery could be fun. Can Garrelts be the victim? But then, that wouldn't be much of a mystery. EVERYBODY would be a prime suspect.

Dad wanted triplets he once told me. Said he had the names picked out. Tom,Tim &Tat. Come feeding time there would have been no tit for Tat.I probably would have been Tat.

Have a great day and year Dick!

I promise to let you know next time I'm in Kearney so we can do a mini, my bad!   If anyone comes to CO, I hope you call me.

All the fires are making our air in CO unhealthy.  We might have to start wearing masks like they do in China, not the best fashion statement.
