Schick,  I don't know when you actually find time to WORK !!

Cindy,  How about Dorothy Malone ?  She can probably sing.  I watched her in a Western with Kirk Douglas and Rock Hudson.  She chose Rock. She obviously didn't realize he was left-handed (if you catch my drift)

Gary,  Good picture. Now I know they faked the moon landing!

Look at that Birthday list !!  Congratulations are in order at this age.

Dick  -  I am actually upset with them  -  they are making me work and it is interfering with my travel plans.  It really isn't that bad  -  I went to the Byron Nelson Golf Tournament last Friday (what a Beating  -  the new Links Golf Course with no Trees is painful)  -  this week is the Colonial Golf Tournament in Fort Worth  &  I have  8  Season Passes so I have to entertain all week long  -  Damn It.  Better go to work.  Talk to you later.

I liked Britton last night, downloaded that performance.  Reading my City Council packet for tonight, school safety discussion, interesting.

Barb won't budge, so I had to cheat a bit - Googled the menu.   I'm guessing Leanna had a nice California Chardonnay @ $40 a glass. They also have one for $400, but she'd still be doing dishes for that vintage.

FYI - Wolfgang Puck offers a Nebraska Corn Fed 12 oz Rib Eye for $66.  Also FYI - In light of those prices, Rib Eyes won't be served at the mini.  And bring your own wine!

Frank,  Glad to hear you can squeeze in some WORK time on the golf course.  You shouldn't have told us.  I'm beginning to realize now that I could have made a better career choice.  Kind of pisses me off!

Kathi,  At this point are you considering a second term ?

Danny  -  I know you know  -  I got the "70"  &  You let me have it.  Thanks.

Dick  -  Maybe you did make the Right career Choice  -  You are Retired and I'll be doing this till I can't walk or talk  -  Weeelllllllllll -  Maybe just can't walk.  Better go to work.  Talk to you later.

So, Dick is even smarter than we thought ( and a sleuth). And he must have a memory like an elephant. He reflects back to Sept 30 at the Palm Gardens when we were there for Dennis Seerley’s Celebration of Life. Being the nice guy that he is, he was buying and I ordered a Chardonnay, but the PG didn’t have it. So he was stuck with an even more expensive Baileys drink. Even so, he got off easy at the PG. Me and Barb have a pact, and it will never go outside our circle of two.

Frank, if I had been able to travel like you and still work full time, I’d still be working too. Work hard, play hard!

Yes, happy birthday to all of the May babies!

Yea for  Brynn and Britton.  What did I say early on!

Dick, Pretty sure there will be no second term, politics

no walk in the park.

Heading to NE this weekend, Arnold Fri and Sat.  Kearney Sunday, home Monday.

Dick - That’s how I made my guess on Leanna...I just didn’t admit it.  Did I miss the date of the mini?

Kathi - When I congratulated you when you won your election, I was going to mention NOT to become a politician but I was pretty sure you wouldn’t:)

Frank - Do you work to play or do you play to  work???

I heard that a Nebraska girl won the Miss America pageant.  It’s funny because last Friday on the golf course a new cart girl struck up a conversation...she spotted the “N” on the side of my hat.  She was 20 something from Lincoln and was really a nice, smart and very pretty girl.  My 3 senior playing buddies were almost drooling on themselves and, after the she departed, were giving me a hard time saying it was hard for them to believe Nebraska could produce someone like that.  I told em that all women look and act like that back in Nebraska!!!  Now I have proof😎

They opened a new bar in the old McCue building last weekend. It was nice to see them save the old building!

Does anyone have an email for Tris Martin?  I’ve been contacted by someone who would like to get in contact with him.  The email in his profile is no longer a valid email!  Please have Tris contact me so I can forward the emails I’ve received and he can decide if he wants to contact this person.  Thanks!

Thought I'd share a few remarks-was through Kearney but only on I-80 coming back from Cozad visit with sister  & lady friend Val& to McCook where making burial plans & cemetery check. Sadly missed my (probably small now) family reunion-that was postponed a week-most my closets family not living now. Don't feel that old right now-a good thing at 67 today! By the way-what's going on again at the old McCue? Was discount food there for years I believe-everyone have a great summer & good to have Marylin Sehnert (sp) now on my fb-can be invited here of course (will do)-stay cool-nice rain & brief cool down & tornados around S. mostly no show-TG-later!

We’ll have to try that new bar at McCues. I’m so glad they did not tear it down, as has vey good memories for me and my sisters. Behind the building was where we would go with my dad to buy our Christmas trees. Dad would always succumb to buying a tree WAY too tall for our ceilings, and then out would come the saw. If anyone visits the bar, send out a report!

Happy Birthday, #4 !!

How about that commercial "Eat the food and lose the weight" ???   Isn't "Eat the food" how we got to this point in the first place ?   I'm gonna have a Root Beer Float now. Maybe I'll actually be able to float afterward.

We probably should have a meeting to set up a Committee regarding the Rowdy 50th Reunion. We really do need to get some things organized.  Please post a response if you would like to volunteer.

Looks like almost a wash-out-least delay of game last night & maybe today for the College World Series-alot of rain early this AM anyway but least busted the hot & humid weather for awhile! Hope the Father's out there had a great Father's Day-still remember the good times with Dad years ago-take care-later!

To All  -  Well I'm back  (sort-of)  -  As my last posts reflected we have been "So Damn Busy"  -  Really.   Fortunately business is off the charts right now so I really need to stay focussed -  it is worth the effort seeing as how I am leaving my company at the end of this year.  We have also had a couple of trips out of state.  Over Memorial Day we had a Family Reunion in Woodward, OK  -  had a Great Time.  My Mom's side of the Family had   7  Kids which produced many, many Cousins.  Out of the   7   only  4  Aunts are sort of alive and only 1  of those Aunts are in good health.  So the Reunion was the Cousins Reunion - like I said we really had a good time.

We went to Victoria, BC for a couple days  -  nice city  -  and then we went back to Seattle for a few days and saw Jethro Tull in concert.  Ian Anderson can still get it done on the Flute  -  What a performance. It was his 50th Anniversary Tour and he the only one left of the Original Band Members.  They had short videos of former Band Members that talked about the Band and Favorite Songs they performed, etc. You will all be surprised at this  -  "It Freakin" Rained" and it was a Rain or Shine Concert.  Still well worth the effort.  If I could figure out how to post a new picture I would  -  unfortunately I am one Electroincally Challenged Indiviual (ECI).

Dick  -  You know that last Thursday was National Martini Day don't you.  Did you have yours  ?   I didn't.  Better go play Golf  -  it is my Golf League Day.  Talk to you later.
