Deb Peterson (Ryan)

Joann I talked to a reliable source that said it was a nasty rumor and the museum was not closing.

It's a beautiful day in Loveland!  Need to get a few more flowers to fill some spots...the garden store and bakery are two favorite spots for this girl.  I got to visit with Marti a few days ago.

Happy 4th to each.

Danny, some days my memory are better than others. I've resorted to putting things I need to remember on my phone so it gives me reminders!

Have fun in Sturgis and remember to take bail money!

This post is mostly for Dave "Lefty" Carpenter. I was at my brother Doug's house the other day and he showed me a little league baseball scrapbook that our mom had put together for my twin brothers Doug & Dave.I never knew that she had made them one too. I guess I wasn't as special as I thought. Lefty Carpenter is about a year younger than most of us and he was only 12 at the time. I didn't realize what a great ball player Lefty was then playing for the Kiwanis. He was 7th in the league in hitting with a .405 batting average, was 2nd in the league in innings pitched, was 1st in strikeouts as a pitcher with 64 and was 1st in earned run average in the league with 2.95 runs per game as a pitcher.

Doug has had a glass counter in his living room for years filled with pictures. I asked him where he got it. It is the old glass candy counter from Reddy's grocery store. He told me he had bought it from Mr. Reddy. It still has the sliding glass doors.

How exciting for Terry Garrelts! He can now LEGALLY pump his own gas into his car! Do you remember how to do that Terry? If not, come to Nebraska as we'll give you lessons! 😁

Please keep all of the Salestrom family in your prayers.  Chuck's brother Jim posted on FB yesterday about his health.  He has had cancer for 10 years and his battle is coming to an end so he is home in CO spending time with his family.  I think Jim graduated in '72 and has had quite a career in the music industry.  When he posted this news he also posted a performance of his song "Grateful" which has a beautiful message.  Sending hugs and prayers to all of the Salestroms and their families.
