80 degrees Tuesday, rain, with wind and snow coming.  Welcome spring, lol

I got to laugh this morning before 9 am.  Amy Van Dyken was an amazing speaker, Google her to see her story,  She spoke at the Boy Scout breakfast.  Worth getting up earlier than usual.

The temperature range in Nebraska yesterday was from 27 to 72.

And to think we hurried home from our trip to participate in today's blizzard... everything closed!!  It was good to get away to Paris, Bremen, Frankfort and Warsaw - and that was just Indiana!

What a Great old Blizzard we are having back here in the state of Nebraska. As I was heading to work this morning an Eskimo and his dog sled passed me on second avenue. The were heading north and the sled had Arizona plates on it ?

I guess mother nature was smoking something and could'nt remember what season it was (not like we have seasons anymore in Nebraska ???)

Have a great day and do something fun for yourself today !!!

If you choose to watch the Masters this weekend, look for Schick.  He's there defending his World Champion Nut Drive.   Holly would be eligible in the Girls Division, if she could talk a Case-IH Dealer to sponsor her..

Happy birthday to Cindy Walters Castillo. One of my favorite people of all time.

Schick...

Were you at the 18th hole when Tiger Woods won the Masters Sunday? Hope you didn't oversleep when they moved the starting time up because of the weather. You could have offered him a jello shot to celebrate.

Ron--If you have any Spam left over from the Rowdy Mini I saw yet another recipe for you.  Spam Enchiladas! But since you are the expert in that area you probable have been eating those for years!

Dick--Hope your feedlot has dried up by now.  Now you are probably dealing with mammoth tractor ruts everywhere.  Just keep the Doreens on high ground!

Frank--Sounds like you witnessed  quite the memorable finish at Augusta.  Hopefully you could get close to 18 in time.  I'll be anxious to hear about it!

Danny--I'm guessing you aren't having to deal with any more dog sleds on 2nd Avenue now that the weather is warming up?

Happy Birthday to all of our April classmates!

And I thought I'd offer some things to ponder:  KNOWLEDGE is knowing a tomato is a fruit; WISDOM is not putting it in a fruit salad.

A clear CONSCIENCE is the sign of a FUZZY memory.

Dave...

I have never had spam enchiladas. However,I have had spam on a soft shell with shredded cheese and taco sauce. They were very good!!!

I learned something today.I did not know tomatos were a fruit.I love egg plant. Is that also a fruit? I went into a grocery store and asked the produce clerk if he knew what an egg plant looked like. He replied yes. I told him that he had been up a chicken's ass further than me.

Barbie,  My interest in a Hockey game/fiasco is purely for a place to cool off during the 80* temps we're expecting.  As much as he tried, Dick K couldn't convince me there are rules.

In other weather related news, if it rains on Easter Sunday, it will rain every Sunday for 7 Sundays. Could happen ...

Dave, The ruts are filled. Took all day with a dozer blade. What a mess!  Still need to rebuild some driveways that got washed away. Still a bit wet to haul dirt, and who knows when we'll get into the fields. If it rains on Sunday .. (see above)

Danny,  I have been taping it and catching up on it.  I watched it tonight, I totally agree with you it is not as good as other seasons.  I'm wondering if this won't be the last season?  I haven't seen any of them that interest me.  Keep telling myself it's going to get better but.....

Spring is teasing us here, almost 80 today, but Monday high expected to be 42!

Sure Hope no more freezes because flowers, bushes and trees are budding.  Just read another article about the flood destruction in NE Nebraska.  Heartbreaking.  Picturing how lost those families must feel.
