Kearney Public Schools Foundation John Reddy Fund

I received the following message from Nancy Rogers Williams the day after the 1969 reunion ended, 6/15:

"Hi Sue,

Since you've been reading our blog, you know that we contributed toward the "John Reddy Fund," and raised $1,585.25 over the weekend! We'd like to issue a challenge to the Class of 1970 to match it or exceed it. We've asked the Class of 1967 to do the same. The John Reddy Fund was set up to buy school supplies and clothing for underprivileged KPS students, and is administered by the KPS Foundation.

If you're interested, I thought maybe you could send an email blast to your registered users.

I let her know the Class of '70 would gladly accept their challenge to raise money for the John Reddy Fund.  Let's see if we can raise that much and more by the time our reunion ends on July 11th, 2010.
