I probably shouldn't have posted the time traveler joke.

The Bartender says "We don't serve time travelers here".

Two time travelers go into a bar...

So many great ideas Dick!  My opponent tells me he's raising $40,000.  Yikes, my budget is modest I guess.  People sure waste a lot of money on this process.  Such a learning process.  Heading to hear a reunion concert up the canyon tonight.   Love sitting in the mountains listening to live music.  Life is good.

Kathi, maybe a good catch phrase for your mayoral election is "Vote the Wright way!" Kathi Geiser Wright for Mayor
OR
"Vote for the Wright person for Mayor"

I can't believe nobody invited me to their Hukster party.

So I had to watch the game with Wiener Dog.  He says, "Give the Defense the ball!"    There was also a duck game today ... phttttt !

Kathi,  Maybe you can get your hands on that other guy's list of donors.  Sometimes they give to both campaigns, just to be sure.

I haven't checked out the message forum for a couple of months so had a little catching up to do.

Dick G. I missed your birthday so happy belated.  I hope you had a nice juicy steak and a cold one.

Dick K.  I read your post regarding you driving my car over the old platte river bridge while I was apparently "sleeping" and it made me laugh. Those were the days!  Dick, I'll be thinking about you tomorrow . . . we all miss Sue.

I also read that Barry Robinson passed away . . . I know we are all getting older but 67 is still too young. I remember In 9th grade PE class I was somehow paired up against Barry in wrestling.  It was not a pretty sight . . . I'm still having nightmares.

Kathi, good luck on the campaign trail. If you win I'm sure there are a lot of classmates that would like to have a cabinet job.  For me just an easy job with no responsbilities . . . but a fancy title and paycheck would be good.

I hope everyone has a nice Labor Day.

Jerry

TAKE THAT   "70"   POST  -  There you go.

So if you hear that a 67 Year Old Man and his 2 Sons are killed in the parking lot of the Oakland Raiders Colliseum Monday night after the BRONCOS whip the Raiders asses  -  that could possibly be Me, Aaron & Dane.  Yes  -  We are going to risk going to see the BRONCOS play what will most likely be the last time they play in that stadium unless something wierd happens in the Playoffs  - YES  -   I DID SAY PLAYOFFS.  What the heck you only live once  -  right  ????

Susie  -  Great Pics  -  The Sunsets have been brilliant this year.

Jerry  -  Welcome back.  Better get to work  -  GO BRONCOS .  Talk to you later.

I have offered to make rhinestone tees for the ladies in our class for our 50th reunion.  If you provide the shirt, the charge is $4; if I provide the shirt the cost is $26. (Note: the prices I am quoting is at cost, I'm not making anything on these tees). The deadline to order is October 13th.  I must have payment by October 13th to make one for you.  I've attached a picture of the shirt.  If you would like one, please send me a message by October 13th.  I will bring them to the reunion.  If you would like them shipped, please include extra to cover cost of shipping.  Shirts that work the best for the transfer are 95% cotton and 5% spandex (Christopher and Banks essential tees work great).  If you have questions, please contact me as well.  I had Sue Wise Divan send an email to the ladies in the group, but I don't want anyone to feel left out.

Nice 70, Schick.

Even though you didn't ask, here's some advice for the game.  Take your own plastic straws.  And by all means watch where you step!  They have homeless people there.

Good job on the tees, Joann.

Anna,  Maybe you weren't actually in Walmart, but somewhere else.  It happens ... but I've never told anyone about it.

Welcome back to the Forum, Jerry O!

Thanks Dick. It's my retirement business. I enjoy being busy and creating things. I don't mean to be prejudiced and exclude the guys in our class, but I deal with rhinestones. Now if you guys want a rhinestone tee, I would make one for you!

We are on our way home from Niobrara and received this from my niece, Dick Jensen’s daughter-in-law: Hi there.  I just wanted to update you on Drus dad. They are forgoing any treatment. He is too weak at this point. The doctor said he has 2-3 weeks left. You can pass the message along if you would like. Incase any of his classmates that haven't sent letters would like to.

I can't believe nobody invited me to their Hukster party !

So, as usual, me and Wiener Dog had a Ribeye, which promptly put us to sleep.  We woke up in time for the Fourth Quarter and the flea flicker.   What do I know about a flea flicker ???  When I Googled flea flicker there was a picture of Wiener Dog.  It's also a trick play in football.

there is also a duck game ... but I doubt anybody is watching.

To All  -  To everyone's dismay  -  I kept my mouth shut and got to and from the BRONCOS Raider Game in one piece. It was difficult but it happened (I also had My Sons -  one at 6'4" 240 lbs,  one at 6'2" 200 lbs and a Newphew at 6'6" 250lbs).  The only bummer was that the BRONCOS lost -  They are still trying to find themselves.  San Francisco is a very unique and interesting city  -  my Nephew lives there and he was able to show us some areas that the Hop-On Hop-Off bus tours didn't take us to on previous trips.  Overall the trip was a good one.  Just so you know  -  we didn't spend much time in Oakland, most of our time was in San Francisco.

Dick  -  You are correct about the homeless  -  your advice was taken seriously but sometimes when walking on poorly lighted streets you become vulnerable (if you catch my drift)  -  Better get to work and try to pay for our trip to Cancun next month.  Go BRONCOS. Talk to you later.

WELLLLLLL    !!!!!!!!!!!!      The  BRONCOS didn't win again but the  COWBOYS did.  I also won  1  of my Fantasy Football Games.  I keep thinking I am going to see a post come out of someone  -  It's been a week and nobody has any news  -  I have been trying to refrain because I don't want to lose those Picutres tha Susie posted  -  they are still incredible.  Better go to work  -  I am boring myself.  Talk to you later,  Go  BRONCOS.

Ok Frank, since you sound kinda lonely out here on the forum, AND since I heard from someone you have a pool in your backyard, I’ll tell you of the pool in our backyard that we bought last summer. It’s a blue and white inflatable pool we call “ Aqua Boy”. Launch date....July 4th 2018. The fact that it’s hotter than hades here right now, is probably what makes me want to talk about my pool. Now before you feel sorry for me, I’ll tell you of the advantages of a pool like mine. There are never any neighbors who come over and want to jump in, easy to fish out bugs and debris, no deep end and can’t drown as easily, can move it around from sun to shade, no worrying about it during the winter cuz it’s in the garage. So this is all the news I have for now Frank. It’s hot, and I’m sittin’ in aqua boy tonight.

It's a foregone conclusion there are rubber duckies in Leanna's aqua boy.

Frank, good job on the 70!  Good luck with the Broncos!  Glad you survived the game and enjoyed San Francisco. It's an interesting place!  It has been a busy summer and time seems to be flying by!  September is half over, what's up with that?  Nice pool Leanna.  I don't even have one like that!  Maybe I can buy one next year except I'm sure our lab would jump in and pop it before I could sit and soak!

I have gone through everyone's address and am sending out Save the Date cards for the reunion.  I need addresses for the following people.  Feel free to email me if you have any addresses:

Ellen Bowen Snedeker, Bruce Clark (North Platte??), Candy Cole Laursen, Cheryl Colling, Roger Conger, Mike Cosgrove, Bill Foster, Bonnie Hanchett, Randy Parker, Craig Peterson, Terry Imel (Superior, CO??), Marie McDonald, Laura Mosier, Rhonda Ruane Olson, Nancy Schade, Donald Swanson, Glen Tatum, Bill Warner, Janeen Zerbe Mullis, Roger Zimmerman.

Thanks for any help!  Have a good week.  Supposed to be cooler tomorrow, maybe more like fall weather!  Yay!
